Traditional Wedding Vows

GROOM and BRIDE We are gathered here today To witness and celebrate, the joining of  BRIDE and GROOM in Holy Matrimony.

BRIDE and GROOM have brought to this moment The fullness of their hearts, As a treasure to share, with each other,In the mutual bond, that we all know as marriage.

GROOM and BRIDE, You are both so very fortunate  To have found each other. In this day and age, when trust and love, are so frequently tested, And patience and determination, will so often be outmatched, It’s good to know, and feel safe in the fact, That you can count on each other, For a higher strength, and a clearer focus. 

GROOM and BRIDE, To be partners on your lifetime journey together, It is important to remember the two individuals that make up your partnership. Respect and nurture those qualities, That are so unique to yourselves, And that have drawn you together, to this moment, right now. 

BRIDE and GROOM, Please face each other and hold right hands. 

GROOM, do you take this woman, BRIDE, to be your lawfully wedded wife, To live together in the Holy Estate of Matrimony And to keep yourself, only unto her, for as long as you both shall live? And BRIDE, do you take this man, GROOM, to be your lawfully wedded husband, To live together in the Holy Estate of Matrimony, And to keep yourself, only onto him, for as long as you both shall live?

The giving and receiving of rings, symbolizes your love for one another, which knows no end.  So may these rings be blessed, as a symbol, of your unity. Please repeat after me.
